I posted about the transition of moving from NC to UT on the other blog, but I never made mention of the actual journey across the country.
Our first stop on our "farewell tour" was to stay with Kim and Brandon. We always have a great time on our visits to their home.
Our second stop was to see the Klopfer family in Missouri. They are good family friends that we met in our Mebane ward and our kids (although very different in age) love each other dearly!
Our third stop was in Denver to see the Lindsey's. We love this family and all the time we spent together when we lived in CO.
And then it was on to UT. The kids were troopers during the whole journey and it went as smooth as could be expected.
Hoping UT brings us as much joy, growth and friendships as NC did!

St. Patrick's Day. Jilli and Beck took on the task of making a setting the trap for the leprechaun this year.
The first, but hopefully not the last, time that Mac has read himself to sleep at night.
Celebrated our 12th anniversary. Mom watched the kids while we went to lunch, shopping and to the temple.
For part of our Christmas gift this year, Bert and Kelly gave everyone a gift certificate for a sleigh ride at Deer Valley. We had a great time!
For school, Beck needed to wear some kind of transportation for their Kindy 500. I was dreading making something and even tried to get him to miss school all together that day and go to Chuck-e-cheese instead, but he wouldn't take the deal. In the end, the airplane didn't take that long to make and I actually enjoyed making it -- not to mention that Beckam was thrilled!

My crew all ready for school.
"Follow the light (the glowstick in the drawer) if you're looking for a party!"
Out for a bike ride around the block with my girl.
Celebrating Dr. Seuss day with green eggs and ham for dinner.
I convinced Mac to join the Mapleton Choir. He reluctantly did. It was my attempt to expand his horizons beyond basketball and sports.
Grandpa Larry's birthday fell over President's Day weekend, so we took the opportunity to take him out to breakfast. Love this guy!
Beckam and Jaxton, lost in their imaginative world.
Happy 1/2 birthday to my girl. She's a gem!
I'm such a sucker for sleeping kids! The top left hand pic was taken after Jilli spent most of the night up with Mac tickling him after he twisted his ankle.
Mac was hit hard with sickness this last week. He spent two days out with strep throat and then another two days out with a stomach bug.
Love me some Jilli and I love that she loves taking pics as much as I do.
Jaxton has been extra sweet these last couple weeks. After Jilli, Beck and I spent a night in Logan for a baptism and blessing, we came home to these notes.
My April Fool's prank -- I put green food coloring in the bottom of their bowl and then poured the cereal on top and then the milk; when they started eating, everything turned green.
Wrestle mania with Dad.
Jilli has mastered the art of a good pose and I am loving every one of them.
Spring is in the air and we have to take advantage of it.
Valentine's Day was a big hit.
Her mother's child.
